Well it has been ah wile since my mom's pool was redone and filled. I waited almost 15 years for her to drain it and it happened last summer. Maybe 4 months or so before it was over. Only a few came to skate it, basically because my ill grandma lived in the bedroom next to the pool. Even though she said she loved to hear us skating, I am sure it was very soothing considering the coping was flag stone. One night my mom was concerned that the back fence was falling over and some kids could drown. Before she could say a word, I went home and returned wit my two pumps and the pools was draining. I couldn't believe my eyes how good this pool truly was. It was like it was built for me, goofy foot lines galore and more. Here is a funny story, after we had this skate bbq party thing, the neighbor couldn't handle the grinding or something and called the cops. Being that they were typical orange county cops, they barged the side hill and popped their head over the fence and told us to all sit down. I was like why, its my house, i can skate in the pool all I want. The cop gave me attitude and asked if I had an Id, I returned the attitude letting him know we had a functioning front door along with a doorbell. After a few moments, they knew they had nothing and split. When they were leaving, one of the cops slid out and stumbled down the slope. Pretty funny shit. Anyway, hope you like the pictures. My site has lacked real current photos due to all the heat surrounding posting pools that are a go. -NG
First time draining it, just sitting and waiting to see what it actually looks like empty.

Front side grinds on this coping were hard at first, but became easy after a few.

Can't think of a much more quality looking photo than this. It just looks like a perfect place to be.

Hessian Brett got some nice ollies going on day one.
Greeker stopped by to destroy some coping.

The end was near, my mom was fed up with the skating and couldn't wait to get it redone.                 Benji killing it like it was a mini ramp.

Even Salba stopped by to sample the goods.                                       Scotty Cox throws down a nice rock stall after helping paint all day long.

One of my favorite pictures from the pool, this was the first set of real backyard pool stairs i ever made it over. It only took about 30 falls. -NG
