The San Juan Pool - This house was haunted said tony the bum, the only one brave enough to live in the house there. All boarded up, looked like a disco party pad straight from the 70's. Down hidden in the back yard was this cool little kidney. The walls were steep and tight, grinds were extra hardy on the broken coping, none the less it was still fun. No body gave a shit about her, Dumping trash, taggin it up, making it an eyesore. My friend Scott and I decided to give her a facelift. All black with one slayer sticker in the deep end. So fuckin cool. For ahwile the power was still on at the house. Many night sessions went on and the presence of the ghost of the little girl was always there. R.I.P. SAN JUAN POOL

| The first frontside 5-0s in a pool I ever did were in this pool. Makes me want to go dig it out again. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| Here's what it looked like when the owners filled it up the first time. Look at all that dirt, who would have thought about digging it out. The D.O.D.C. did. check it out here. The Rebirth. | ![]() |

| Scott get hearty with some black paint. The owner said he was going to fill it in due to all the graffiti. We hoped the fresh coat of paint would save her. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
I thought I would end this article with an artsy kinda shot. Fresh tracks left only faint signs of all the graffiti. I think we did the pool some justice before it was filled in. It would have been a shame to leave it all tattered and full of meaningless tags. -NG |
