Sunset Amoeba Blowout - So I get this phone call from my hollywood himself, Tyler Mumma (stacy peralta double in lords of dog town flick) that he has in fact discovered a new pool to ride not even 10 minutes away from the house I grew up in. The story was that they knew the people who lived there and it was a go. So I waited out front until Tyler and his crew showed up and we all just walked out back and started skating. About a half hour into I asked the kyle ( the kid who knew the people) how he knew them. He said he really didn't know them, he just knew of the pool. I was like fuck, I'm gonna cruise cause all these neighbors where being nosy. Had I known we were barging I would have only stayed for a few minutes. Quickly we left just as the owners were coming home. Close call but definitely worth it.

I went back another day because i was fiending some turns in that sucker. Gyr from Lost, Roger from alva and I cruised up and saw one of the kids out front. We asked him if we could skate, gave him the made up on the spot sob story and miraculously he let us ride. I was so stoked I ran straight to the truck and was grinding that thing in less than a minute. Mid session the kid runs out freaked out and tells us to hide. His step dad came home unexpectedly and we are not supposed to be skating. We had to hide out and wait to see which entry point the dad would make and we would make a run for it the other route available. He sat outside on his car and called into the house. The kid was tripping and his little sisters were all sketched to. The step dad finally left and we bolted super fast. Maybe I'll stop by later and give it ago again.
